When it clunks, does it blow gas or anything out? backfire? anything? If everything was good and out of nowhere it started popping I would check my vacuum lines.

no it does not pop backfire or anything. it's not out of nowhere either, it's only when the load increases. gradually accelerating and its fine, FLOOR it while in 2nd gear, and it'll do that until it reaches speeds of 30-40. in 20-28 mph it does that. and its not the CV axles because they are fine, and i know what sound they make when something is wrong (clicks etc.)

sounds a lil bit like what mine does, does it happen all the time or just occasionally? mine hesitates and splutters if i try floor it at low revs under load. i was told 2 check my fuel filter as i might have shit in it that could be blocking the lines... sound realistic?
