1980 Corolla Mods?

I am thinking about getting a 80 corolla. What are good links and good places to go to learn about this car? I mainly want suspension info. Also what is a good rear end that could handle the beating I would be giving it.

I already have a motor in mind so thats not a problem. btw. how is the motor thats in it? its a 1.8. Is it worth anything?

if I get it I will post pics of the car and its progress. I already have a civic that takes almost all of my money but now I want something new. Already done everything to the civic I wanted and now I wanted somethign unique. I wanted an ae86 but all I could find is the coupes so I figured since I can get an 80 corolla I will just get it, And see if my f20 will fit in it .
