Seafoam a 1995 Corolla 1.6L?

Hi guys

I was wondering if it was safe to use seafoam treatment for my 100,000 KM 1995 Toyota Corolla 1.6L.

Thanks

You should be fine.

If you're going to use it to clean the intake manifold, though, having a helper would be useful. Take the bottom inch or so off a paper / styrofoam cup to make a nice shallow container to suck up the stuff with, let your helper make it suck up the seafoam, and stay inside the car with your foot on the gas as needed to make sure the engine doesn't hydrolock. A little liquid goes a long way...

oh and it will smoke like crazy, but thats ok, its supposed to do that...

Other than that its should be fine ..... just keep the rev's under about 3000 no need to go any higher...

For bonus points, do it in a crowded mall/Walmart-or-similar parking lot. It won't smoke too much at first when you're sucking it in, but after you let the engine sit for 10 minutes and then fire it up--preferably to make a quick exit--you're going to be quite the smokescreen star...don't ask me how I know this. =)

How long will the engine smoke if you use seafoam?

If you can find a performance shop see if they sale BG-44K. Its injector cleaner, and its better than anything I've ever seen.
