I feel your pain, xrated. I've had some seizures on my own brakes more than once after brake jobs...
When you're bleeding the brakes, there is one important thing to remember: the piston travel (in both the master cylinder and the caliper pistons) over time builds-up a small ring of gunk where the pistons are used to stopping (the farthest point inside the cylinders that the pistons are accustomed to travelling). When you bleed the brakes, be careful not to either push the brake pedal to the floor or clamp the caliper pistons too far into the bore. Once that ring of gunk is broken, seizure and seal failure are common.
