The side mirror on the drivers side is making a lot of noise, as soon as the ignition is switched on, I had to disconnect the mirror electronically for it to stop what could be causing this. By the way they are fully powered mirrors.

Either the switch is sticky, or you have a short in the wiring. If it still runs with the master sw/ in the passenger mirror position, then I would guess short.
