cheap mods???? how about cosmetics???? o wait....that'll cost you spray cans and a new gasket for your rocker covers...

these engines are already designed to go fast enuff.....there is no really cheap mods for them.... i say for engine itself, the cheapest thing i can think of that will create big difference is rebuild (while your at it, change to high comp piston, oil spray conrods, and thinner head gasket)...... don't think about modding it the cheaper ways....cuz that'll just ruin the engine.

diconnect the downpipe from the cat..take out the cat and the rest of the piping+muffler...save ur self 50lb and also get way more high end power.

strip the interior..take out spare tire and jack

run 13inch rims/tires in 185/60R13 size....ur gearing will be more aggressive...

remove the hood skeleton....weight reduction

remove rear side class....replace with plastic from home depot

take out the insulating mat on the firewall...that's heavy shit
take out ac
take out header core
take out alternator and run a dry cell
remove ps

Damn! he said he wanted to go faster.. not that he wanted to go racing! might as well remove the seats and interior while you're at it.

here is a cheap way to get your corolla to go faster. Steel sum1's fast corolla and take all the fast bits out of it and replace with your slow bits! it will go way faster! trust me

Actually most of these ugly bitches are from the Greater Toronto Area in Canada.

I don't know why aparently they weren't smart enough to past the entrance test for the U.S.
