1st: how to i remove the back seat of the car?
2nd: i cant remove the radio, its a old one!
3rd: fuel gauge is down, dont show how much gas is on the tank! how to fix?

i will try to keep this thread alive, in some days iam going to post some pictures of the car, and how it is going with the works...

1st find a junker or junkyard that has spares of your car to get things from.

now go find a fuel guage sending unit, replacing that will probably fix the fuel guage problem. the back seat...the bottom part should just pull up and that will give acess to a panel held with screws which when pulled will give acess to the fuel tank and the pump/sender unit.

the radio, i dont know this year. there may be others here to help.

Hi,
It is a AE82 or might be a AE86. I don't know the difference between those. You should buy the Haynes manual for that model. It is very good. You will find it at www.haynes.com :

So mint!! I'd love living in a country that doesn't have to worry about rust.
