02 flange problem

On the header I ordered, the o2 flangeis a single "hole" style bung, meaning you screw the o2 sensor in the bung. I noticed on my stock manifold, its a 2 bolt flange. Anyone know what I can do? Could I buy an o2 that fits and splice the wires? Or should I cut the stock manifold flange off and weld it to the new header. The guy said no modifications needed, but it will cost 75 dollars to have a new one shipped and back, and i only paid 100 for it.

all o2's are either flanged or screw in..... they are universal.... there are so many different ones available because different car manufacturers use different plugs.... the signal (for all narrow-band o2's) is always 0-1v.... there is generally one feed wire (the 0-1v), sometimes a ground wire, and if it's a heated o2 then there will be 2 wires for the heating circuit....

so, you could go and get a universal o2 if you wanted

hmm, so I could take the header in the auto parts store, ask for a universal screw in style to fit it and it should work? All I have to do is splice the wires?

i bought a bosch direct fit O2 and the sensor screwed into the adapter flange to make it use the two bolt type, so basically it would work on either the thread in bung minus the flange on the 02 or use the studed flange bung.
