What about the Geo Prizm Seca copy? Did GM use Toyota chassis codes?

+ the ae101, ae91, ae105, ae110..... etc. etc. could go on for ages.

The basic chassis are all the same for each series.
ie. 80 series, 90 series, 100 series, 110 series, and so on and so on.

The chassis code and the VIN # are somewhat different, on the VIN number the A refers to the motor (4AFE, 4AGE, etc.) the E9 refers to the chassis type and revision, which is Corolla (just like M or J for supras, S and A for MR2s, etc.) and the number after that refers to the car style or trim basically. (8 = GTS, 3 = Seca in your case, 5 = sedan I believe.. or was it 1)

READ guys.. the VIN NUMBER reads AE88 or AE98 if its a GTS, but the car is still an AE86 or AE92 which is the CHASSIS CODE not the VIN number.
