AE86 help my ae86

please i need your knowledge!! just bought a rwd 87 corolla lovely and clean driving it the other nite stopped for some grub left da radio on car wouldnt start thought it was da battery cause she pushed started driving away she started back firing like mad den i turned off da lights an it went grand an eventually da car came to a stop all da dash lights are gone but work wen da car is running!! i got told it could be the altinator so i changed that but that had noting to do with!!! any ideas?????? please i only drove it for 2days

You replaced the alternator, but since the alternator had died before and didn't charge the battery.. did you recharge it?? The car probably won't start because the battery is still dead, charge it or put another one in there and see if that one starts it.

sometimes when you push start a car not all the required relays close due to a dead battery (causing funky problems) i have had the same thing happen to me twice, usually i let it run for 3-5 minutes then shut it off and restart it with the battery power.

It seems like there is more problems here, first check all your fuses then you may have to start checking relays

checked all of the fuses there all okay!! is it da fuse box in da eng bay?? could it have something to do with da ignition barrel not making contact??? what would cause da back fireing???
