Old 93 radiator replacement

Hi there, just found out about this forum...looks great !

Actually, I was looking for information on my Toyota Corolla '93. I need to replace my radiator, since the fins are all corroded and the radiator is about to leak.

My car is on it's way to the graveyard in a few years, and i'm looking for a cheap, "temporary" solution.

I was looking for radiators in scrapyards, but with our winters up here in Canada, snow and salt, it would be a waste of money, since other '93 radiators are not in better shape than mine.

Here's my question : I know that the Corollas were the same during ~5 years ('93-'97), but do you know if the next generation ('98-??) uses the same model of radiators ??? And do you have an idea where I can get this information ?

If it's the same model, I could use a '98 radiator (for example) in my '93 car. The radiator would be in a much better condition.

not quite what you asked for but, if you call around especially try the "japanese used auto parts" places you should be able to find a Knock-off for around $100 if you really want a used one try using www.car-part.com they usually have something...

it is a nice decent one too...
