Shifter help

ok I know the corolla and prizm are like the same car, but I was looking into a short shifter for my prizm once im done the tranny swap and I seem to only find them for the 93-97 corolla's. is the shifter in a corolla the same as the one in a prizm or are the different? does anyone know?

Id bet 5 bucks it would work. The cars are the same drivetrain, just the exterior is a little different.

the only other question I have is which one do you think I should go with cause im just gonna be cheap and go on ebay, but they have the OBX one which as ive read on here before doenst come with the bottom plastic piece or there is the generic brand that does come with both plastic pieces. does it really matter which one I get if they both do the same thing? or would going with the OBX one be better even tho I would have to put the bottom plastic piece on myself.
