OK w/out GRILLE ?

Right now I do not have a GRILL on my corolla. Is that ok? Is it safe? I think it is.
Why? I wanted to replace with a mesh grill and turns out it doesnt fit completely. I dont have time to fix it at this moment.
Suggestions?

The grill is there for style and to protect the A/C condenser and radiator from damage from large objects. No problem to run the car without the grill until you get the mesh grill straightened out. On the other hand, the grill normally takes all of 45 seconds to install and another 45 seconds to remove, so there isn't a big "down side" to reinstalling it in the mean time.

ive had the front grill (the one between the headlights out of my prizm for a while now, no ill effects other than during the winter the engine seems to run a little cooler than it did before, but that could be because i have the heat on.

It will take forever for your car to warm up in the winter.

Sorry, there is no truth to this. The grill is just not restrictive enough to have an effect. If you have a thermostat in good working order, it will warm up just fine.

Hmm, perhaps it was my air intake sucking up the cooler air? It runs fine and all, but it doesnt ever get past the 1/3 cooling mark even in traffic.
