Yes you can. I'm not sure why people always ask "how much" as it's not always going to cost the same, it's not like shops all over north america have a set "rate" as to how much a 20V swap will cost.

Usually depends on the shop or if you do it yourself. Be prepared to pay $2000CDN or more for a Blacktop alone. Installation, probably another $1500 and up.

Blacktops are not cheap and easy to come by as silvertops are. I've seen Silvertops in the Toronto area go for about $400 for the motor alone, then blacktops for like $1200-1500 just for the motor, then complete for about $2500.

AE92

well, thats cheap, considering i have an 87 jdm supra with the jdm turbo engine, the engine for that cost me about 8 grand cdn, and the install was done by me n my team, i was expecting it to be like 5 grand total, but 2500 isnt bed, then i can rebuild it and throw a turbo in it, im so happy now, just gotta find a blacktop

^^if you're gonna boost it why bother wasting your time with the blacktop. get a silvertop if you're going the boost route. BT is my one of my top NA toyota engine. second to BEAMS 3SGE

No doubt dude. If you have the budget and the time just get a 3sgte and drop it in. Its pretty straight forward and besides, its already turbo.

yeah, i may as well do that, and upgrade my throttle body, cams, psisonts, new sleaves, valves, connecting rods, new crank, and get a huge turbo like a t6 or something

If you are going to drop in a 3sgte you wont need to change all that other stuff.
