exhaust is on!

Well I got the exhaust on. Sounds very aggressive, but real mellow. I like it. The header made it kinda raspy, but not ridiculous.

Anyone want pics or a sound clip? It turned out real nice.

They are ebay header and catback made by a company called Tsudo. You may laugh, but these exhaust parts are very nice quailty. T-304 stainless, huge flanges to prevent warpage, nice fit in factory hangers, tig welded.

I paid 125 for the header
215 for the catback
140 for the o2 sensor (different style bung, needed replaced anyway)

So for 480, I have a brand new exhaust (340 if you exclude the o2 sensor)

All that includes shipping.

Very nice quality if you ask me. Sounds like an apex-i exhaust on a dohc honda.

I'll get a sound clip when I fix the heat shield under the car. The flanges on the catback are much bigger than stock and keep hitting the metal shield on the undercarrige of the car causing a wicked rattling sound

Sounds great at 6400 rpm.

I still have a flat spot around 35-50.

With the higher compression and the new exhaut, i have certainly made more torque, but its still lacking the midrange. The motor is nice at low rpm and when its being revved to 6 grand, but 3k-4.5k rpm still lacks some balls. 2nd gear is so damn long even if i rail the piss outta 1st, it still drops to 2300rpm, right where my car falls into a flat spot.

I'm gonna get some more power once the cams are in, but wont they kill my torque to begin with?

So Im gonna end up with a car with the same tq as stock, but ungodly (for what it is) topend?
