04SE I think you mean a 04S...Is it getting dull on the inside or out?....My one light on my 03(same lights) started getting water vapor in it and started to cloud up(condensation) you could even see water drops inside after only one year of owning the car new...was a bad seal..since then I have replaced both lights again for cracks in the glass...A slight clouding in damp/rainy weather is normal but if yours is bad its probably a bad seal or cracked glass..Could also be if you replaced a light bulb recently you didn't fit the bulb back in correctly and is letting in damp air...Its hard to replace the light because to get to the bottom holding bracket you might have to take the bumper off and its a tight fit putting it back in...good luck...

I was going to suggest he buy some diamond pattern H4 lights with plastic covers and he shouldnt have that problem anymore. The brasso works well too.

His headlights are made out of glass...

But never knew brasso worked on plastic headlights, will have to pass that info to my buddy that has a 95 Pontiac with a plastic light bar..We just buffed it out with rubbing compound, took a lot of crud off but still left it hazy..thanks for the tip.
