The header, downpipe, catback along with the intake worked out real nice. It pulls pretty hard and has a signature exhaust note. The header got a little discolored since there was oil on it, o well, doesnt hurt performance. I love how the stainless dissapates heat. I can drive a car on the highway, let it sit for 2 minutes after shut off, grab the header and not get burned.
Nice exhaust, I got the same one. Is that the eBay header? If so, I think I might know what I'm getting next. I wish I lived more south, your Prizm is in WAY nicer shape body wise. Mine is slowly dying of cancer.
The engine is nothing pretty, but im not into show. Im hoping for 110-120 at the wheels after the ported head.
I want to do they dyno run before the cams and after to see if they are really worth the 500 and some odd dollars I paid for them.
The car sounds very nice, im going to get some heat wrap and put it around the flex section so the rasp goes away. Redline makes a wonderful song.
Not much more I can do to this as far as N/A goes. This car does move well I can take on new civic si's with no problem. The weak link is my clutch, its starting to go south real fast.
This may sound funny, but I took it to the local landfill (where they have a 10 ton scale to measure metal loads, and they weighed it, with me in it, it weighs in at 2680, very lightweight.
I would say the exhaust dropped about 5 lbs or so. The header and downpipe weigh much less than the cast iron pieces. The rims dropped 9 lbs of rotating weight, the rotors weigh 2 lbs less than the stock.

......
I had a 1963 MG Midget that weighed about 1,300 lbs.
