Had a bit of an idle problem today..
So I was just driving through a parking lot earlier today when I got a bad idle problem. The car was bucking in gear and it just would not idle at all. I had to keep revving it at traffic lights. It would drive fine, but just a few seconds after I would push the clutch in, then the idle problem started. Funny thing is, when it started to idle bad, if I revved it up then it seemed like it would idle ok for a few seconds, then back to the bad idle. I mean it was like and on/off switch. It would be idling good, then the next second idle like crap. Another odd thing, I seemed to notice a light ticking sound at a certain rpm when it was idling bad. the problem went away after a 50 mile highway drive. This is the second time it's done this since I've had the car. When it works right it sounds like my idle is a bit high.
