Car audio

I have resently put a system in my car (01 corolla) and new alternater too, but i need to replace the wires going from the battery to the alrernater, can anyone give me any tips on how to do this?

yes..the battery should have 2 grounds..one goes to the chassis and one goes to the tranny..should be the top of it..replace these 2 with 1/0 gauge wire...then find the alternator and there should be a stud on it somewhere and get some 1/0 and get a ring terminal for it and put it on there..there is no need to remove the existing wire from the alt to the battery because power will choose the wire with least resistance..you need to have a fuse in this wire..and i would choose a fuse about 50amps over the max limit of your alt...put this inbetween the wire from the alt to the battery +any more ingo feel free to email me or add me to msn at redskins_1_fan@hotmail.com
