Curious... Why a Civic or Integra? I mean I can see a Integra cuz they are nice but why a Civic? Not to dog on your personal liking or nothing, I just thought I could pry into the mind of a Civic guy and find out what the infatuation is with those cars.

if you've never owned a civic, it's very easy to knock it down. the efficiency of honda engines are at par or prolly better, people will argue about that for ages.

I've owned plenty of civics to know that they're just as reliable as any Toyota is, sure they have their problems but any car has problems. But even with their problems none of my cars, whether it was a Honda or a Toyota has ever left me stranded on the side of the road.

STEK2, please stop bumping this thread, you already have a thread in the Vehicles For Sale forums so there is no need to keep 2 of them going for the same topic.

who me? ahaha that thing was beat up like crazy it was spray painted too, my parents put sometime into the job tho, so it was pretty good.
no door handles either (those are painted on!) so they couldnt hit you in the doors and break the handles off

if anyone races up there (minden) they know how rashleigh and shaw are =D

i think you should move this to the FOR Sale section tho. more results there for sure!!!

Understandable. Reliability is nice.

I guess there is just some kind of attitude (where I live atleast) that comes with the name Honda. Ive been nearly killed several times by Honda drivers, and most seem to be mad at me for almost getting run of the road at their fault. This isnt just my opinion,
many members of my family say the same thing. I just dont understand.

My wife owns a 93 Corolla (the 7AFE I just rebuilt) and I have an 83 Accord for my work driver (live 52 miles from work), the Accord has 287,000 miles on it and still gets 31+ MPG. I am very impressed with the reliability of the car, it has never left me stranded anywhere.

that goes to any car make. we've got stupid toyota drivers (i'm lookin' at you REN ), honda drivers, ford drivers, etc. just coz you had problems with honda drivers doesn't make the honda cars any less. i'm sorry but that's an ignorant way of looking things. but that's your opinion. i've had many problems with Volvo drivers, but i would never question the car company itself.

I did not question the Honda company. And I never thought any less of them. I Just questioned STEK2's reason for buying a Honda.

I know there are millions of dipshit drivers out there on the road and to look at one kind of car IS "Ignorant". I never said it was only Honda drivers, it is a fact that (in my area) a good # of Honda drivers have bad attitudes, crapy driving habits and just plain no common sense or courtesy. I have friends that own Hondas and drive respectfully. I have friends that own toyotas and drive like idiots. I know that this goes for all makes.

What Im saying is I dont understand why there seems to be some kind of attitude that comes with the Hondas in my area. More so than any other car. And this is not only my opinion but the opinion of many others out here.

it's not that civics are a bad car compared to the corollas

I prefer older corollas rather than the same year civics for the ae86 and ae92. But the eg and ek hatches are cool

What sucks about civics is that EVERYONE has one. Hell I'd take a newer civic over a newer rolla ANY DAY! Both handle well and have decent engines...
