Genuine Toyota fluids

Does anyone know who makes "Genuine Toyota Motor Oil?" Is it an American refinery or another company? Also, who makes their antifireeze?

Irespective of who makes Toyota own brand fluids I would not use any, apart from their Type 1V auto trans fluid. They will use whatever they can negotiate the cheapest price from the oil manufacturers. I have never known a Toyota dealer use own brand fluids, apart from auto trans, and I know they use the cheapest oils they can buy within spec.

Mobile makes the oil for Toyota. Botled oil with Toyotas name on it comes in 5-30, 10-30,
5-20 & 0-20 (0-20 is synthetic) are all made by Mobile here in the U.S.

Its not "Mobile" its "mobil"

Plus I'm fairly sure Toyota uses Castrol GTX, not mobil 1

Just wondering why it matters who makes the oil and filters? You can go to any auto parts store, or even walmart, and buy good quality oil and filters. Just because it doesn't have Toyota stamped onthe bottle doesn't mean it doesn't work.

But you go to the dealer for an oil change, you'd like to know what brand of oil and filter they will use on your car. Just like to know.

Mobil makes Toyota's oil. You don't know who makes it. Please don't spread lies.

EXXONMOBIL is responsible for making Toyota's Oil, Coolant, and ATF
