Windshield Ripples

I just purchased a 07 Corolla LE and I had major ripples in and across the windshield. You notice it when driving in peripheral vision on pass side or when you have the door open and look thru the windshield at a fix object and u move yourself side to side. Toyota replaced it once; the new one also has ripples but not as bad as the first. I was told they are not replacing again that all the cars on the lot are like my first windshield.

go look at the other cars, if you see ripples then its sort of tough shit, if theyre clear then take the guy by the tie, drag him out, and show him all the clear windsheilds and make a stink till you're happy or they call the cops.

When the windshield curvature gets extreme, theres always going to be optical distortion at some parts.

The windshield is rippled all the way across the length and width and surprising all the cars on the lot are the same way. I took it to their recommended glass place to have the chip fix from a rock and they are the ones when I showed them said it had major defects and they need to replace it. But the new one is also rippled not as bad as first but still noticeable and dealer said they are not replacing it. Some lexus and other Toyota models are having same problem.

my 06 civic lx has glass that gets scratched very easily. you would think i had the car 2 years, only has 6000 miles on it. many car companies are sourcing components from less reliable sources to keep car prices down or to make more on each car.
