My 1991 DX with 130,000 miles was making a lot of noise. I changed the muffler hoping it would solve the problem. Well it made most of the noise go away. I took it on the highway yesterday, and a very loud noise was coming from the rear of the car when I went more than 60 MPH. The funny think is that when I went around curves in the road, especially to the left, the sound would disappear and the car would be quiet again! Anyone have any clues? Rear bushings? Rear bering?
