You WILL need a UN-CUT harness to do the conversion unless someone is making you a custom one, i think you said you wanted to do the conversion for cheap?

If so you better live and breathe toyota technical stuff and learn so you can do it yourself

Uncut simply means that you have all plugs in tact on the wiring harness - From the passenger and drivers side fuse box to the ECU and all of the sensor plugs...

If its a cut harness it usually means they have done what i had to do and make everything match the inside of the car, so the harness has been 'cut'

Well the 3SGTE won't be cheap, no 3SGTE came in FWD so you're basically stuck sourcing out a FWD transmission that will fit (3SGE, 5SFE will do) or you can use the SW20 MR2 transmission but it will have to be modded to work in FWD as it drives the opposite way. Then you're looking at modding the engine mounts for the motor to actually bolt up to the Corolla, I believe at least one mount has to be customized. Then you finally get to the wiring part which of course as most people say is probably the easier part out of the whole deal, but still will take you some work.
