the mp3 or the protege 5. friend's got one new, saw the interior and it's pretty neat. very simple, pretty neat.

wondering if anyone has any experience with the vehicle.. i've heard it's "underpowered" at 140 horses, but wondering how bad it is really

I drove the Protege 5 and I can honestly say it's feels kinda weak compared to my Sentra SE Limited. The engine is smooth and the suspension is nice and tight. The transmission especially between 1-2 is pretty long. I would immediately stick in a short shifter if I had that car.

Also beaware that dealers are giving like zero discounts. I was thinking about trading in a car for that one but they were going to sell to me for MSRP!

$19,995 is MSRP! + Freight PDI and Taxes of course  So basically I just proved my point.
