How low can i get on a new XRS as far as price???

Since the 07 Corolla's are being sold now and the XRS isn't coming back. How low do you think they'll go on a new 06 XRS that's still on the lot if they have 19 on the window? I work at Nissan so i know they dont spend much to buy these cars. We have a Sentra Spec-V out there that was 22,500. Now it's down to 17,500 since the new Sentras came out. Also if they have a used one for 16g, you think they'll take 12,500 for it? maybe 13???

Spec V is well.. a Nissan made in Mexico, nuff said.

I doubt you will go much lower with an XRS since they're not being made anymore, chances are they'll probably go UP in price as it will become a rare vehicle.

XRS was discontinued 6 months ago. I doubt you will find a new one. But, you say that there is one available for 19k. I have seen some used one's selling for ridiculously high price (which is, stup*d).

If you really want an XRS, I would say go in there and tell them that you are serious about buying it then negotiate hard with them over it. They would be willing the budge if they KNOW that they can get that car off the lot that day. If you can negotiate well, you can bring it down to 17 - 17.5k. My friend got an 06 XRS and I helped him with the negotiations. He was able to get 1500 off the sticker pirce, free oil change for life and iPod interface.

Yeah, 49k miles is a lot of mileage so 12.5 - 13k is more reasonable.

However, you will have to be careful to see how the previous owner treated it and did not drive it like he stole it i.e. through looking at the tire tread wear patterns, brakes, do a clutch test to make sure it is not shot and checking gear shifts to make sure no gears grind and that the synchros are fine etc. etc.

Before you look at the car, figure out what invoice is. You should be able to go lower than that since its a leftover.

When I bought my XRS in July, the dealer told me up front that they wouldn't budge off of the sticker price.. So I wouldn't budge and raised the price of what I wanted for my trade in. There was a $250 rebate at the time too.. Woopie...

Already have 14K on it...
