Quick gear shift knob question...

What size are the threads for the manual shift knob? I didn't like the stock one in the Corolla, so I switched it for one from a Supra (minor junkyard prize). Yesterday, I tried using my Corolla knob on my 85 Nissan 300ZX (in which the previous owner modified the gearshift, so now the stock ZX knobs don't work on it), and it fit perfectly . Just need to know the thread size/count so I can go looking for a knob for my Z (I dont like the Corolla's--feels a bit too bulky in my hands when shifting).

I'm not sure... the TRD short throw shifter nob isn't threaded when you get it... you thread the plastic the first time you put it on the shifter.

best way would be to use a nut to find it out
