Angry H4 converson help!

ive never done wiring and am attempting this on my own as a last resort, i've ghetto rigged the wiring using blumeanie's diagram. After the wiring has finished to my knowledge, i turned on the headlights and they worked at first! After a quick 30 min break, i went back outside and turned on the headlights again, this time it did not work! I wiggled the wires around the black grounding wires from the h4 harness is making sparks (what does this mean)

why is it not working? what does the sparks mean? and are my fuses messed up, burnt perhaps? if so, how do i check for burnt fuses for the headlights and how to fix, thank u so much!

he means if the filament (I think that's what you call them, the little metal strip) inside the fuse is not solid, meaning it's broken off, then your fuse is blown.

check your wire connections if you just twisted the wires together solder them... its sparking so its obviously making a circuit sumwhere just go though and check for a short
