panasport wheel replicas intrested?

its ben from wheels direct again, trying to setup another group buy. but this time its gonna be more directed towards the AE86 and starlet drivers !

heres the low down on your specs:

bolt circle: 4x114.3
offset: low ( roughly +10mm to +15 depending on width of wheels)
size with tires:

13x8 --> you can run 215/50/13 or 235/45/13 (these sizes are atlittle small in overall diameter)
14x7 --> you can run 195/60/14 or 185/60/14
15x7 --> you can run 195/50/15 or 205/50/15

here are some of the wheels (mind you there are no prices, it will vary depending on demand)

ROTA: RB
(13x8 used for race spec, weight about ~13-15lbs. offered in silver only with a +4 offset. also have 4x100 for miata racers!!)

BSA: 277
(15x7 used for the daily drive with the wantanbe look ! the picture is a 17" high offset, the low offset with 15" will look different !the spokes will sink inwards near the centre. this wheel will be VERY CHEAP ! when i say cheap i mean like 175$ each! if you choose the 195/50/15 i got some kumho 711 thats pretty cheap ! and great for daily use, but also very inexpensive!! and with this wheel you can run 205/50/15 race tyres if you want ! toyo RA-1 are pretty good for track !)

Konig: rewind
(14x7 are the only ones that they have avalible with a +10 offset. they have this and opal colour, but thats it. with only this size. no 15" sry. this wheel would be the best choice since it looks like the panasports almost to the T!! light too ! you can run the standard 195/60/14 on these puppies ! you got lots of choices ! dry runs you can ride on falken azenis sports or some nice sticky daily drivers yoko 512 , all season guys dunlop A2. )

and for the other wheels everyone knows already, they are your standard , WATANABE, COMPOMOTIVE and PANASPORT all of which are CRAZY $$$ (panasport and compomotive are race wheels, while watanabe are ... well just oo much for something that heavy!)

im tryig to start a GB on either the BSA, konig or rota. the BSA would be the easiest and cheapest to do a GB, while Rota and Konig would be limited to how many i can order since they dont make them anymore(exepct for RB, they just not making anymore for this year.)

please gimme some feedback ! and if anyone knows a good place that does power coating, plz share ! i "had" a few places, but dunno if they still do them !

Question size & price quote...

can i have a SIZE availability and PRICE quote on Panasport C4 or C8's????

i'm just looking for a general price quote w/ tires, installed, taxes, out the door for 14" or 15"...

if not, i might be down for a konig rewind group buy..

Hey Ben,

I think your the guy I talked to a couple of months ago. It was super icy that day and you came out to take a look at my 86.

Anyway, I'm interested in the BSA 227's. What would the price be walking out the door including rubber, taxes, balancing, installation etc....

I'm confused. I have 14X5.5 wheels and I run 195/60/14. Why would you be running such skinny tires on a 7 inch wheel?? I don't get it.

ready ike, yea its me ! i was helping you ! did you find any wheels that day? or any sytles? well for the BSA 277 im gettin 60 wheels here in a month or so ! yea, these wheels are gonna be sooo cheap ! cause i ordered alot ! and plus its cheap anyways ! and you can slap on 195/50/15..civic tyres !! hahaha.

uras, i can get you sizes and pricing.but it depends on what you want? race/street? they got 2 pc and 1 pc. how big you want? they got soo many ! but im tellin you now its gonna be $$$ 14"x7 on a ae86 will run you about 1600 for the wheels alone !

as for the 14x5.5 running a 195/60/14. yea its fine. i would not run it. but yea if it fits now then yes it works. i would run a 185/60/14 on it. but the 14x5.5 is stock wheel size. if you run a 14x7 it would be much nicer or even a 14x6.5 if you want the 195/60/14.

well i guess not alot of pepo are intrested.

ill keep this running for a few more days.

tthe 13x8 i have going on the GB will fit a 225 width !! it makes it straight ! instead of bubbling out. the 195/60/14 on a 7" width is good ! you can do a 6.5 but it does not matter. your side walls will be more straight instead of bubbling out. its much better on corners. but then again it depends on your tyre side wall, some tyres are alot stiffer. some give more then others. usually all seasons will bend more. but a side wall height of 60 ratio would be fine.
