Picking up a 1990 4wd corolla

So i had found a smoking deal on a 4wd corolla sedan.

600 canadian dollars.

only thing major it needs is a gas tank, or at leas the seals for the tank.

aparently, since im buying it on a whim, the dude said that it has a 4ag engine...dunno if thats true.

but with 220k and all the paperwork emailed and faxed to me about the car, I really can't go wrong with the price.

But, for those that know, is it true that these car's had that engine?

If so, i'm got myself a really really good deal on a car that will help me out this winter.

Should have come with a 4A-FE, unless it's been swapped with a 20V (or swapped internals and/or head with the 16V). The 16V 4A-GEs apparently don't quite fit because of the transfer case.

All-Trac wagons came with the 4AFE, it could have a 4AGE if it was swapped... OR maybe he meant the car "comes" with a 4AGE, meaning he's throwing a spare 4AGE motor for you to junk for him.
