Spark Plugs '03 Rolla

Hey. Not a frequent flyer here, as my DD is an RSX with 61K miles (and too many mods) and my wife's car is the '03 Corolla with a measly 35K miles. She's not interested in mods either, other than tinted glass!

Anyway, I just changed out my iridium plugs on the RSX - at 61K they looked like crap!! And they are supposed to be good for 100K.

So this got me thinking about my wife's plugs.

Does the '03 Corolla use iridium plugs too? And how many of you have changed your plugs as early as 35K, and was it necessary?

She drives mostly city driving.

Thanks in advance.

35000 sounds like a little early. If the car had the run of the mill plugs you get for $1.25 each, 35000 would be right.

I think if I had an RSX my plugs wouldn't last as expected. now if my grandma had an RSX they'd probably last till 150,000.
