Question 1994 Corolla has miss at idle/low RPM's only when warm

1994 US spec 1.8L AE102. I am the second owner of the car and have put the last 80K miles on the odometer for a grand total of 178K. As the subject reads, the car seems to run fine until warm, then it lopes at idle and misses under 2K rpm or so. Seems like a vacuum or EGR problem to me. New plugs, tune-up not too long ago, new fuel filter, did timing belt/tensioner a few months back. I checked the timing and even advanced it a hair - no help there. To make a long story short, I am the proud owner of a Corvette and a Mustang, and damn, this Corolla is just flat out my favorite. I am a Toyota nut, and just need to get this car right for the fast approaching New England winter. I really don't want to take it to the dealer, but don't have a ton of time to diagnose. Where the hell is the EGR valve on a 94 1.8L? Any ideas? Can someone help me save my little car?

unless its a california emmision vehicle it doesn't have a EGR, You didn't say anything about cleaning the throttle body i have found this tends to help things out in general, If your thinking of doing this take it right off the car and take it apart and give it a super good cleaning. Also try putting the timing back to 10 BTDC, maybe check the O2 sensor and water temp sensor. Also never hurts to run a seafoam or other fuel system cleaner through.

I'll try cleaning the TB, and running some fuel system cleaner through. The O2 sensor is recent, replaced when I put headers on. Also, the coolant temp sensor was something that I thought might be causing the problem, but the car still loped at idle with the sensor unplugged, so I didn't check it's resistance. So there is no EGR? So I could swap in a JDM 4AGZE and not have to worry about passing a visual emissions check, because the car never had an EGR system in the first place. Interesting...

with the EGR you gotta look, most likely it doesn't but some do if it does there will be 3 vac lines comming out of the top of the throttle body (rather than 1) and there will be a round black plastic thing clipped on to the intake manifold just behind the throtle body
