besides the TRD and cusco strut tower, what other options do i have? ive heard a rumor that you can use a 1996 mitsubishi eclipse front and rear strut tower bar with a few modifications. i was told that if you swapped the strut tower rings between the rear and the front. to illustrate what ive said: use the front strut tower bar with the rear strut tower rings and vice versa with the rears.
does this work? anyone tried this? or was i played like a fiddle?
btw, has anyone tried the mugen twin loop replica exhaust?
T3? where can i get? and where can i do some researcH? how much do they run about? but can i still use a mitsu strut tower?
mugen exhaust, the question is: is it loud?(yea, you answered the question) how performance? top end good? bottom end good? is it worth the money or should i just get a normal exhaust?
I purchased the short throw shifter last fall and have been super happy with it. Their kit was a complete bolt on and it only took me 30min to install and I have very little mechanical knowledge.
yo adam, i didn't know you had the t3, if i had knew, i woulda asked you if i could try it when you came by my house last nite. i wanna compare it to the trd that i have.
anyway ben, are you refering to tower bars that would work on an ae86? i think i pointed out to a few people that the 91 and up civic rear tower bar will work on an ae86 coupe, dunno if it will work on a hatch. you would have to drill holes to mount it, since the ae86 rear was not designed for tower bar application.. i'm still trying to look for an alternative for the front setup, but right now if you check on ebay, some cheap aftermarket company sells ae86 front strut bars for around 40usd or less, but too bad he doesn't ship to canada (but i'm sure he will if you ask)

yea i have my eye out on this AE86 and also this starlet with a 4age drop !
what other options do i have? besides these strut towers? they still seeem rather $$ 100usd is kinda pricy ! i dunno i guess cause im comparin it to honda materials !! since strut towers all do the same job regardless if its a name brand (cusco) or some cheapy twainese brand ! so does anyone kno where i can get some cheap tower bars for the ae86 in toronto or even in canada?
and has anyone tried the mitsubishi tower swap yet??
