easy there mr whoroEF!
2 inches eh.. well swapping the springs is not the only thing you're gonna end up doing.
Of course you already know you have to get the lowering springs (don't cut your original springs) second, make sure your struts are in good condition. You might end up having to replace your struts because your original struts might not take a 2inch drop too easily. KYB struts as a replacement is a good idea, they're affordable and perform great. You can also look at brands like Tokico or TRD, but you'll be spending a bit more money.
Let's say you got your new struts and springs installed already.. now comes the good part.. since your suspension is now 2inches lower, now you have to wait till the springs settle down. Usually about 2 weeks (put some weight in the trunk to speed up the process). After the springs settle down, you have to get your front wheels aligned professionally so that your tires don't get worn out on the inside. a 2inch drop will make your car go thru tires like they're oil changes.
So in the end it doesn't look so simple and cheap does it.. I got my car lowered recently and ended up spending about $1000 CDN.. 4 KYB struts, APEX springs(1.6 inch drop), installation and wheel alignment.
Good luck man.
