Here's removal instructions from Autozone.

Most any cd player will fit. You should get a wiring harness converter plug and you may need a faceplate filler. You can get what you need at almost any automotive store and even at WalMart. In my 98 I removed the old stereo, removed the bracket from it. Bolted the bracket to the new Alpine Deck, plugged in the wiring harness, popped it back in place, and had the whole thing working in about 20 minutes. (Then I pulled it out and installed sub and amp wiring, etc). I also replaced the front 5 1/4" speakers with 6 1/2's and I cut up the rear deck to install 6x9's back there. The sub and amp are in the trunk. I went from a 12" sub - really liked the deep bass, to a 10" in a smaller box to save space.

In a 95, remove the 4 tips from the HVAC controls (they just pull off),
then gently pry around the plastic plate covering the radio/HVAC using a flat-head screwdriver.

After the plate pops off, you will need to unplug the wires for the Hazards, Defroster and Clock. The AC button just comes off on its own.

After that, there are 4 screws around the radio. Your CD player will screw right into the plate that is attached to the stock radio, and a wiring harness will allow that CD player to plug into the cars wires.

After that, its a simple matter of putting everything back together.

Also, any standard aftermarket CD player will fit fine.
