Canada need some advice

hey u guys...so about 2 weeks ago some idiot was driving against traffic downtown and even though i tried to avoid him he still managed to hit me but not head-on...driver door and rear quarter panel. my sr5 is now in a coma, waiting for me to grow some funds to bring her back to life...in the meanwhile i got a 1990 GT-S and it seems to idle a bit too high (1100 RPM) i dont know if thats normal for a GT-S but my sr5 idles at 750...so if anyone can help on this it would be very much appreciated...
thanks

colder temps usually mean a lower idle, mine idles around 600 in cold weather, but around 900 when it's hot. i like it around 900 though, it sounds like it's about to stall when i had it idling around 750 so i turned it up.

really? Mine idles' higher at cold temperatures.
when i turn on my car in the morning it idles about about 1100/1200rpms. and then as it warms the idles lower to about 900.

lol screw the SR5 lol you got a GT-S

(Ohh advise you might like).. Uhh about the whole idle thing their should be a lil Black Cap on your throttle body, under the cap is the idle adjustment screw, With the car at Temp, make your adjustments 1/2 turn at a time & put your IDle wherever you want

Hope this helps

As for the 1100 idle. Thats about normal for the gts; 1000-1100 is generally a good range to keep it at. And yes when its cold your engine is suppose to idle higher. As the engine warms up to normal operating temp the idle is suppose to drop a bit.

hey thanks a lot u guys...well i forgot to mention that it was 1100 at normal running temp...as for the sr5 the insurance declared it a total loss but i still kept the car cuz i just cant let her go...i love that car...if i never get to fix her ill keep her for parts...
one more thing, anyone knows where i can but the plug that goes in the back of the cd player (its a sony) the guy who had the car before cut the harness and improvised on the adapter he had on his cd
