if you dont want to get ripped on, dont read the forum...people have the right to be nice, and to criticize, be rude, be plesant, be angry, be mad and say what they want...freedom of speech? I'm not trying to rip onto anyone now, im just saying ok it may be childish to rip on someone for a dumb comment, but is it not childish to run to the moderators and admins crying about how someone made fun of them? If you have a problem with someone saying something to you, say something back and support what you have to say...thats how this forum will grow if people can explain their logic and reasoning for something happening or them doing something...if i dont agree with someone im going to let them know...i wont rip on someone for doing a mod to their car bc how you mod your car is up to you, but if someone asks about something and someone then posts a comment back and i think they are off base, i dont see why i cant let them know that i disagree and why...if you dont explain your logic your wasteing everyones time but if u have something to say that you believe in, why not express that?

What is a "right" and what is the right thing to say or not to say are 2 different things.

I suppose we all have the right to offend one another, but I don't think this is the place for it.

As for all of you "older" members, if you think people should use the search function first b4 they ask a Q and that upsets you, I have a solution. Simply answer back, "try the search function" or, don't answer at all.

I for one (not being an older member) don't mind at all people asking questions that could be found using the search function. For that matter there is probably very few things asked that haven't been asked b4. Then what would we all do with the time we spend on the PC?

I personally hate the search function because I rarely get the results I'm looking for. The search function typically sucks.

So I say ask away! I won't be rude unless you're rude to me. (Even though I'm a Christian, it's really hard to turn the other cheek. I don't like being stepped on.)

^^ i to understand the search deal. but at least make an effort, because there is so much good information to get from this site, all you have to do is dig it up & start reading, sure you can ask again, but you may not get the same results as recieved the first time it was asked...

I am very new, however I have read a lot of threads and I think the languge has been quite civilized. I have seen worse. Remember, people with issues have to deal with them daily the rest of us can move on.

I like this comment and it brings up a good point...just bc someone snaps doesnt mean they "hate or do not like YOU". if so who cares? For all you know that person may have had a bad day and be just venting and blowing off some steam...let people who rip you go but before u ignor them look and see if they make a good point. Someone can be crude and still make a strong point that should be looked at...
