03 Corolla CE tire size

Is it OK to increase the tire size on an 03 Corolla CE from 185 to 195/65/15? Appreciate any responses.

The manual say not to on the CE but an S model can go to 195/65/15's as an option...Their basically the same car with just different trim so I wouldn't think it would hurt...But I went to a 205/65/15 last year on my S and it screwed the tires up by not wearing even(the tire was cupping on the inside of the thread)...Most tire places won't put on any tires other then the correct ones for your car...Good Luck.

I went up to the 195/65/15's when I replaced my tires.

Gone 20,000Kms and Ive had no tire wear issues, time to rotate though.

Hope this helps

I also have a Corolla CE 2005, with Goodyear, Integrity, 185/65/15 with 40,000 kilometers on them. I just ordered four (4) Yokohama AVID TRZ 195/65TR/15 from tiretrends.com here in Maple Ridge, BC, cost $561.66 includes, mounting, balancing, installation, and taxes. They will not replace only two (2) tires. I will just replace my donut with one of the 185/65/15. Maybe it will hold the roads better with the rain we have here. Buy in Canada.
