A Cai will not void your warrenty. But if you do have engine problems - and want to go in for warrenty work, i would definitely quickly change back to the stock air box. simply because the dealership will most likely try to blame you (at fault) and try to make you as the owner - and will go after your intake. it takes like 15 minutes to swap from airbox to intake. Keep in mind that an intake is just an intake, right. its a simple mod that helps the car suck in more air - so really you can't go wrong. - i'd go for it if you really want one, just be smart about it.
the 06 civic does sound nice, but just swapping a muffler from a civic will not make your car sound like a civic. heck, i love the sound of the wrx but by putting the wrx muffler on my car won't make it sound like a wrx. it has to do with the engine setup.
Try sticking to more known names for mufflers and u'll be satisified. Something like TRD, Borla, Vibrant, Magnaflow etc.
