1989 Corolla problems

1.While driving on the road and coming to a full stop the rpm continues changing ? [moves from .6 to .8 and vice-vera] it feels like the car is going to stall ?

2.As soon as you sit and start the car, very wierd motion coming from beneath the drivers seat and pushing upwards toward your seat?

carburated or fuel injected engine?? maybe your idle is set too low, another thing could be the motor mounts are gone.

check ur dizzy cap/rotor, might be gone.

check the spark plug wire going into the ignitor coil....if there is oxidation then sand it down....

adjust the idle...just loosen the screw very slightly

check ur plugs, might be gone

look for vaccum leaks and make sure all plug wires are securely in place
