07 corolla Shifting Noise
I have an 07 corolla 5 spd, i didnt notice at first but now sometimes i hear a weird noise when i shift while accelerating at high speeds. Its almost sounds like a tiny grinding noise or scraching sound coming from the right side of the motor???? I guess the best way to describe it would be to tell you it sounds almost like the same noise that a wire feed welder makes when you are welding, that sizzle noise, but only for a split second. It has also done it while cruzing at a high speed, 70+ mph, and hit the gas, no shifting, and you can hear it slightly??? I have no idea what the hell it is and when i took it up to service at the dealer, they claimed they couldnt hear it. Anyone have any thought on what it could be??
