I wanna re-locate my cd player..either my cd player sucks or it sits too low but its skips like a mofo..its a stock cd player from a 98 corolla..does anyone know of a place to put it?

they tend to skip, but from my experience...cheap ones do seem to skip more than nice ones.

i had a garbage one on my ef and it'd skip like a mofo on stock suspension...the one in my current car that's lowered doesnt skip

i dont think relocation will help u any...dont waste the effort...no matter where u put it, it will still experience shock

I got a Kenwood mp3 player.. mine skips only when I hit the really hard bumps.. otherwise it handles the stiffer suspension pretty good.

I don't think location will be a factor, maybe the laser is too dirty. Try cleaning it with a cd player cleaner.

Anyone got a cd cleaner? Im dont wanna buy one for a one time use.
Unless I return it afterwards..gotta loved Walmart!!
