is wheel hop bad?

tonight it was kinda wet, and i somewhat floored it when i was at like 3000rpm, and it started bouncin you know? but i stopped it after like 2 quick bounces haha, is that bad for the tires? id rather just spin the tires than wheel hop, but is it really that bad in the rain?

yes, i've seen it destroy differentials. the sudden grabbing just hammers the whole drive line and can/will break things.

Just get different bushings or internal peices of the mounts, I forget which, but it will eliminate wheel hop.

Drivers have cracked the differential case, damaged drivelines, etc. It’s a pretty violent action.

It can be caused by poor shocks, worn or too loose suspension bushings, anything that allows play in the suspension that the driving wheels are mounted on. If a front wheel drive, some owners have attempted to stiffen up the top dog bone mount.

pretty cheap, will cost you less than $30 and the install isnt too much work.
