Question Help...Air conditioner Idle up valve

Dear all,
i just replace my 90 corolla idle up valve(diapraghma near to the carburetor).
i have tried to set it up but it end up to the following condition:
"when i switch on the engine then i switch on the air conditioner, the idle up valve is changing the rpm in the range of 800 to 1000 rpm (not stable). But if i hit the gas pedal a little bit it increase the rpm to 1200 rpm (to high)."
any body knows what is wrong?
how do i fix this?

thank you

On the autozone.com website there is a procedure for adjusting the idle. Look it up, in the menu, it has isntructions for repairs, That might help you get close to the adjustment. I suggest you don't go turing screws, without documenting the original positions and look to see wha tthey do first.
