USA 07 corolla need more power

I have an 07 corolla ce that i installed cold air intake on. I also switched out the tail lights to match the color of my car..black. I want to know if there are any mods i can do to get some more power out of this thing. What about the xrs, it has the same size motor as me ....1.8 liter, why does it have so much more horsepower than me, could i make mine get that????

You should have looked into this matter before you purchased your vehicle dude. You are SOL. You can dump a lot of $$ into performance parts and it will not make much difference. The XRS is a totally different engine.

I have an 07 as well and I plan on upgrading the suspension now and possibly the sound system later on down the road.

there are plenty of performance "bolt-on" parts for the corolla, but like they said earlier the Xrs has a completely different engine.

you can get some performance reasonable price and get maybe an extra 20-35 ponies outta it. Or spend a few "G's" a turbo it, bore it, give it a head job, etc...

Bolt on dont do squat. Only way you'll get power that you can feel is if you supercharge or turbo it, if you're on a budget. If you persist to keep it naturally aspirated, I suggest taking the head to a shop where they can flow bench port it. Porting in some backyard shop, without any knowledge can make it very shitty.

turbocharge or supercharge are really expensive and expensive to fix when they brake
a better exhaust system would help and a DC SPORT Header would help too. you could get a different chip too. but it won't add alot of power
75 to 100 hp for the turbo
15 hp for chip
5 hp for exhaust and header

Where can I find a chip or tuner for this thing?

the "15 hp chip" doesn't do squat.

here's what you should do, if you're serious about wanting power:
header, exhaust, suspension(important if you intend to get more power than intended by Toyota), better wheels/tires(to handle the speed), better brakes, build the motor, turbo(remember your fuel management!). do this IN THAT ORDER for best results.

*** please remember that better tires, brakes, and suspension are all VERY IMPORTANT if you intend to turbo the motor. to be the best runner out there, you've gotta have the strongest legs. please also remember to RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!

Intake and exhaust id go for 1st...u dont need to waste money on a header if you are going to go turbo bc you'll get a turbo exhaust manifold with the turbo kit...if ur not going turbo go for the headers and it'll sound a little nicer and be a little more fun to drive...but like they have said if u are serious go turbo and FUEL MAN. SYSTEM! If it does break you are kinda fucked though bc their a bitch to fix an aftermarket turbo
