its easy.

step 1.) sell your AT
step 2.) buy an exact copy with a MT

I would think you would easier and cheaper to do this exchange than any other option. New MT transimissions go for $2800.

1. transmission
2. pedal assembly
3. computer
4. clutch cylinder
5. clutch lines, shifter lines
6. clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel, throwout-bearing (release bearing)
7. guage cluster (optional)
8. brake pedal (auto's come with a wide pedal, manuals come with a thin pedal to make room for the clutch pedal)
9. center console
10. its a lot of work for nothing, just sell and purchase if your really that interested in doing it.

buy a manual car of the same year and such that's body is shot and swap all the shit you need over.

I'm not gonna say sell it because well I am slowly making my car into a gts/sr5 mix :p I could have sold it and had a gts already lol. BUt that is beyond the point. People like their cars... if they like them enough and want something changed they will pay to have it changed.

I asked the same question about another model....the answer I got was that the process was the equalivant of a sex change operation for a car.

Trade it in on another model with MT. Save yourself the time and trouble.

For a newer vehicle, you'd be better off just trading it in for a manual.
