Clamping springs

Has anyone here ever tried clamping their springs to get an even lower drop. I need to go lower then the eibachs have taken me. I have heard that the suspension from the 93-97 will fit if you get the struts for this range of corolla also. Any comments would be great. I have the same suspension as the sedan.

Thanks

nope, was up for sale in the trader, but then i just could not sell it in the end for the money i was offered, love it to much..... i was going to keep it as a winter car. But do to some financial changes, "going to australia on exchange, im now out of money, and the corolla is now the only car i have for the next 11 months untill i move to the land down under" When i return i will go to something different, and a bit newer from the toyota or volkswagen family.

Regards...

If you do want to go lower do not clamp, the clamps are not really safe and may release upon hard imapct..

I know the Eibach's only give you 1" drop! Why didn't you go with the APEX 1.6" drop? The have that application for your car.

They come with a 1.6" drop, and I know they make them for your car because I have them on mine. The AE92 SR5 and Sedan have the exact same suspension setup. They will probably settle to 1.75" or so...

sorry, i have looked into it, the suspesnion from a 93-97 gen fits my car. Im going to buy 93-97 performance struts and coil-overs. That way i can stick the wagon on the ground, and tuck the new rims.
