USA 03 Corolla Battery Question!

I just went to Autozone and had my battery tested on my 03 Corolla, it was going on 4 years so I had it checked out!

The person that tested my battery said that the "green eye" on the battery only should that one cell and even if it showed the normal green eye other cells might be bad!

My question is...

Is this true?

How many cell does my battery have?

Is there a set time 4-5-6 years that I should replace my battery?

Or should I just wait till it starts giving me problems, but if it dies I might be out in the boondocks somewhere!

Reason I had it checked was first thing in the morning when it was cold it cranked slow but always started, never did this in years past but no other type problems...

BTW Battery and alternator both checked out fine!

Any input or help on this subject would be appreciated...

Thanks

~Radd

I would replace the battery if it is cranking slow. That is exactly how it started on my 02 last year. After about 2 weeks of that it finally died. You can probably get a battery for around $50, so it's good cheap preventative maintenance anyway.
