Roll cage time!

So I figured... why not put a rollcage in the rolla...
So stripped interior and started to put pipes up.

Looks good, must be nice to have access to the tools for that. Will you be able to reinstall the original interior?

the wiring looks much worse than it actually is. Yeah I should be able to put in the stock interior. Minus some small items like a rear view mirror or visors....

Thanks micro.
Heh oh they repaired it, my friend told me that it got way better, I remember when it was full of potholes.

Oh and supposedly the streetraces have turned into a tokyo drift fest, except with civics. You know, the Ready-setto-go start up. LoL.

the welds and bends look good......

just out of curiousity...... have you thought much about the structural integrity of the front-most bars, being that they're bent in many directions? IE, if the car were to roll or hit something there are they strong enough not to collapse? Just something you might want to think about.....

as for weight, i know the 'roll bar' (which in this car was almost the same as a cage, only didn't have the top going forward bars.... but had a full bar across top, mounted to bottom, braced on the rear firewall, and also has forward bars going to the front of the seats) in my friends mr2 added about 300lbs.....
