Noob question Air filter and adapters

Hi all, mate of mine with no computer access is looking to replace the standard filter on his corolla sportivo 05 to an aftermarket one, preferably a pod filter. The question is where can he get his hands on an adapter to plug the filter since all the sensors seem to be attached to the air box.

Any help would be appreciated. By the way ..i'm in the land of OZ (Australia)
